If you've been searching for cryotherapy in Friendswood, IV therapy near Clear Lake, red light therapy, or infrared sauna in the 77546 corridor, you've likely run into the same problem: the modality you need is offered at one place, the next modality at another, none of them are physician-led, and the schedule is your problem.
Wellness Elite Fitness was built to solve that. We're a physician-led longevity facility on Whispering Pines Avenue offering all four recovery modalities — cryotherapy, IV therapy, red light therapy, infrared sauna — alongside hyperbaric oxygen, DexaFit body composition scanning, a 24-hour gym, and personal training, under a single membership architecture.
Dr. Swet Chaudhari, our Chief Medical Officer, oversees the clinical protocols. Imani Lowery, our Founder, designed the facility around how recovery actually works — cumulatively, sequenced correctly, and documented over time.
Three minutes of standing exposure in a chamber cooled to -200°F to -250°F. The cold may trigger vasoconstriction followed by vasodilation; published research describes effects on inflammatory mediators and norepinephrine. The session itself is brief and tolerable; the cumulative experience is what most members report.
Athletes recovering from training. Members managing chronic inflammation patterns. Executives stacking morning protocols. Members navigating rapid weight change — for any reason — looking for a structured recovery context.
Stack with: infrared sauna (contrast), HBOT, red light therapy, DexaFit baseline.
The Friendswood corridor previously had cryotherapy access through Restore Hyper Wellness on Bay Area Boulevard. That location closed. We are now the closest physician-led facility offering whole-body cryotherapy in 77546, with sessions available 24/7 by member appointment.
Nutrient therapy delivered intravenously, formulated against your specific physiology and goals. Common protocols include hydration + electrolyte correction, post-training and post-travel recovery support, micronutrient repletion, and cellular formulations (NAD+, glutathione, methyl-B12). Specific clinical outcomes are discussed at consultation, not advertised.
Every infusion is reviewed by Dr. Chaudhari and tailored to the member. We do not run a one-size-fits-all menu. We do not push high-cost concierge brand names where a clinical formulation will do the work. Your DexaFit scan and lab work inform the formulation when relevant.
Stack with: DexaFit body composition. Hormone protocols and prescription weight programs are handled separately through Dr. Chaudhari's medical practice — Elite Aesthetic MD — by appointment.
Whole-body LED arrays delivering red (660nm) and near-infrared (850nm) wavelengths to skin and underlying tissue. The published mechanism: photons activate cytochrome c oxidase in mitochondrial membranes, increasing ATP production and modulating cellular signaling.
Recovery-focused athletes. Members on protocols where mitochondrial support is the lever — post-illness recovery, training intensification, or members supporting their body through any rapid weight change. Skin health benefits incidentally; we don't lead with that claim.
Stack with: cryotherapy (in either order), infrared sauna, post-training protocols.
Near, mid, and far-infrared wavelengths delivered in a stable wood-paneled cabin. Unlike traditional steam sauna, infrared raises core temperature with less ambient heat, which extends tolerable time-in-session for most members.
Members layering passive heat exposure into their training week. Anyone using contrast (sauna → cold plunge → repeat) — most members report this as the calmest part of their week. Members navigating rapid weight change who want a low-impact session paired with their training cadence.
Stack with: cold plunge, red light therapy, HBOT.
Recovery modalities have proliferated in the last five years. Most facilities offering one or two of the above are not physician-led — they sell sessions à la carte, hand you a punch card, and trust you to figure out the protocol on your own. That model works fine if you already know what you're doing.
If you don't, the protocol matters more than the modality. Cryotherapy three minutes after heavy resistance training blunts hypertrophy adaptation; cryotherapy on a recovery day does the opposite. Infrared sauna timed wrong against a low-fluid travel day creates more orthostatic stress than benefit. IV therapy formulated for caffeine-tolerance correction looks identical on the menu to one formulated for mitochondrial support — they are not the same intervention.
At Wellness Elite Fitness, every member starts with a baseline assessment that includes DexaFit body composition, HRV, resting metabolic rate, and a conversation with our clinical team. The protocols flow from that assessment, not from a generic menu.
Membership tiers (Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Diamond Plus) bundle the modalities at progressively richer access levels.
Members in active medical weight protocols — including any GLP-1 prescription — get the wellness side of the program here: muscle preservation through structured strength training, recovery to manage inflammation, InBody tracking, and nutrition timing aligned with the protocol cadence. The medical side — the prescription itself, the lab work, the dosing — is handled separately by Dr. Chaudhari's medical practice, Elite Aesthetic MD, by appointment. WEF supports the wellness; the medical practice handles the medical.
Wellness Elite Fitness serves the Friendswood / Clear Lake / League City / Pearland / Webster corridor. Members come to us from:

12-minute drive from NASA JSC. 14 minutes from Baybrook Mall. 8 minutes from Friendswood ISD HQ. Off Whispering Pines, just south of FM 528.
If you previously visited Restore Hyper Wellness at 1520 Bay Area Blvd in Friendswood — that location permanently closed in January 2026. Existing Restore members searching for cryotherapy, IV therapy, red light therapy, or infrared sauna in the 77546 area now have to choose between a longer drive and a different facility model.
We're not Restore's replacement. We're a different category — physician-led, integrated under one roof, designed around protocol rather than punch cards. If you're transitioning, our concierge team will spend 60 minutes with you — no sales pressure — to understand which modalities you actually used, design a personalized protocol, and price out a tier that makes sense.
For healthy adults without specific contraindications, three-minute whole-body cryotherapy is well-tolerated. Our intake reviews medical history before your first session. Members with cardiovascular disease, severe Raynaud's, uncontrolled hypertension, or pregnancy should consult a physician first; we'll have that conversation.
The clinical wrapper. Every infusion is reviewed by our Chief Medical Officer. The formulations are matched to your physiology and goals. We do not run a fixed menu of trademarked drips at premium prices; we run protocols.
This is what the baseline assessment answers. Generic frequencies (3x/week sauna, 2-3x/week cryo, daily red light) are starting points. The protocol that fits you depends on your training load, stress profile, sleep, and what other modalities you're stacking. We'll model it for you.
Many of our services qualify under HSA/FSA when prescribed and documented appropriately. The tax handling is between you and your benefits administrator; our team can provide receipts with the relevant CPT/itemization.
No. We offer a complimentary first day pass for prospective members. It includes facility tour, baseline conversation, and a session in the modality of your choice.
The fastest way to understand the difference is to walk through it. Schedule a complimentary baseline assessment, claim a free day pass, or call the front desk and ask for the recovery suite tour.
